Every enquiry gets an answer within two working days, including the ones I turn down. If the answer is no, I will usually send you a name that is a yes.

A short paragraph is plenty. What the thing is, when it has to exist, roughly what you can spend, and who signs it off. Do not write a brief yet; that is my job and it happens after the call.

Three things that make the answer quicker

A date
Even a rough one. The queue is eleven weeks, so a launch in six is a no and we can both save the afternoon.

A number
A range is fine. Nobody has ever offended me with a small budget; the long silences afterwards are what cost money.

A name
Whoever can say yes without asking three other people. Projects go wrong on this more than on anything else.
